6 Reasons Nigeria Contained Ebola

I intend to share my thoughts on how to do same with corruption in Nigeria 🙂 Possible? Well, till then.

Here it is:


The last one week witnessed debate in western media as to how Nigeria so smartly escaped the rampaging Ebola outbreak. The discussion is dominated by surprise and consternation that a country like Nigeria can perform such feat. In any case, the world is used to black news from the black continent and the thought of a world class performance in public health management from such continent cannot but be surprising and astounding.

The containment outcome is not an accident. I have not arranged the submission in order of importance but I can identify six main reasons why Nigeria with such huge population and porous border become a success story.
